Budget 5kg Haul Under €100: Full Breakdown & What You Get
Think you need hundreds of euros to start buying reps? Think again. We set ourselves a challenge: build a complete, satisfying haul for under €100 total — items, domestic shipping, and international shipping all included.
Spoiler alert: we did it. And the haul was better than expected.
This guide is proof of concept. We walk you through every item we ordered, the exact costs, the shipping decisions, and the final delivered total. If you are on a tight budget or just want to dip your toes in without a big commitment, this is your blueprint.
The Challenge: Rules and Constraints
We set strict rules for this haul:
- Total budget: €100 maximum (items + all shipping)
- Target weight: ~5kg (enough for a meaningful haul)
- Mix of categories: At least one pair of shoes, one hoodie, and several smaller items
- No sacrificing quality: Every item must be genuinely wearable, not just cheap filler
- Shipped to Europe via ACBuy
The biggest constraint is that shipping eats into a significant portion of the budget. For 5kg to Europe, shipping runs approximately €40-55 depending on the line. That leaves €45-60 for items — roughly ¥330-¥440.
Can it be done? Let us find out.
The Item Selection Process
With around ¥400 to spend on items, every yuan counts. Here is how we approached the selection:
- Start with the most expensive essential (sneakers) and build around it
- Choose items with the best value-to-weight ratio (lightweight items that look good)
- Avoid heavy premium items (no winter jackets, heavy boots, or oversized blanks)
- Maximize variety (different categories keep the haul interesting)
- Include haul fillers (ultra-cheap items that barely affect weight or budget)
The Complete Item List
Here is exactly what we ordered, item by item.
Item 1: Nike Dunk Low "Panda" (Budget Batch)
Price: ¥120 (~€16) | Weight: 650g (no box) | Rating: 8/10
The most expensive single item in the haul, and worth every yuan. Budget batch Panda Dunks are the gold standard of rep value. The leather is not as thick as premium batches, but the shape, swoosh placement, and overall aesthetic are solid. These look great on foot and nobody is going to question them.
We specifically chose the Panda colorway because it is the most consistently accurate at budget prices. Other colorways are also good, but black/white leaves the least room for color accuracy issues.
Item 2: Fear of God Essentials Hoodie (Black)
Price: ¥89 (~€12) | Weight: 700g | Rating: 9/10
The best hoodie you can buy for under ¥100. Period. The fabric is heavyweight (around 380gsm), the rubber logo is clean and well-positioned, and the oversized fit is exactly like retail. We went with black because it matches everything and the dark color hides any minor fabric inconsistencies.
This hoodie punches so far above its price point that it is almost unfair. People wearing the retail version cannot tell the difference.
Item 3: Basic Heavyweight Blank Tee (White)
Price: ¥35 (~€5) | Weight: 220g | Rating: 8.5/10
A 240gsm heavyweight white tee. No branding, just quality fabric and a great fit. The boxy, slightly oversized cut is trendy and comfortable. White tees are the foundation of any wardrobe and at ¥35 you cannot go wrong. This one feels like a ¥100+ tee.
Item 4: Stussy Basic Logo Tee (Black)
Price: ¥45 (~€6) | Weight: 180g | Rating: 7.5/10
Adds a branded element to the haul without breaking the bank. The screen-printed Stussy logo is clean and the blank is a solid mid-weight. Black complements the white blank tee — together they cover most outfit situations.
Item 5: Nike Everyday Crew Socks (5-Pack)
Price: ¥25 (~€3.50) | Weight: 100g | Rating: 8/10
The classic haul filler that everyone needs. Five pairs of socks with clean swoosh embroidery for ¥25. That is ¥5 per pair. The cotton blend is comfortable and the elastic holds up through multiple washes. An absolute no-brainer.
Item 6: Goyard Card Holder (Black)
Price: ¥45 (~€6) | Weight: 40g | Rating: 8.5/10
A small luxury that weighs almost nothing and costs almost nothing. The Goyard Y pattern on the black version has decent touching Ys, the card slots function well, and the overall construction is solid. It replaced a beat-up wallet and looks way more expensive than ¥45.
Item 7: Nike Baseball Cap (Black)
Price: ¥25 (~€3.50) | Weight: 80g | Rating: 7.5/10
A clean black Nike cap with an embroidered swoosh. Simple, versatile, and cheap. The adjustable strap fits all head sizes. Finishes off outfits nicely and costs less than a coffee.
Item 8: Yeezy Slides (Onyx)
Price: ¥30 (~€4) | Weight: 350g | Rating: 8.5/10
The single greatest value item in the rep world. These molded foam slides are essentially identical to retail and cost less than a sandwich. Comfortable, stylish, and perfect for around the house or quick errands. We went with Onyx (black) for maximum versatility.
Size up one full size — Yeezy Slides run very small.
Item 9: Phone Case (Goyard Style)
Price: ¥15 (~€2) | Weight: 30g | Rating: 7/10
The cheapest item in the haul. A Goyard-print phone case that looks fun and protects your phone. Is it going to fool anyone? No. Is it a cool little accessory for ¥15? Absolutely.

How We Kept Shipping Costs Down
Shipping is where budget hauls live or die. Here is how we kept it under control:
1. Removed the Shoe Box
The Dunk shoe box adds roughly 400g and significant volume. Removing it instantly saves money. We asked ACBuy to stuff the shoes with paper to maintain their shape.
2. Chose GD-EUB Over EMS
GD-EUB is slower than EMS (15-20 days vs 7-12 days) but noticeably cheaper. For a budget haul, the extra few days of waiting is worth the savings. We saved approximately €10-15 by choosing GD-EUB.
3. Kept Items Lightweight
Notice how we avoided heavy items like winter jackets (800g+) or chunky boots (1000g+). The heaviest single item is the hoodie at 700g. By choosing lighter items, the total weight stays manageable.
4. Used Simple Packaging
We opted for a simple poly bag instead of a reinforced box. This saves weight and cost. Our items are not fragile (no structured bags or delicate items), so simple packaging is fine.
5. Shipped as One Package
Splitting into two packages means paying two base shipping fees. For a 5kg budget haul, keeping it as one package is the way to go.

Value Analysis: What Did We Actually Get?
Let us put this haul in perspective by comparing to retail prices:
| Item | Rep Price | Approximate Retail | Savings |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nike Dunk Low | €16 | €120 | €104 |
| Essentials Hoodie | €12 | €80 | €68 |
| Blank Tee | €5 | €15-20 | €10-15 |
| Stussy Tee | €6 | €45 | €39 |
| Nike Socks (5-pack) | €3.50 | €20 | €16.50 |
| Goyard Card Holder | €6 | €300+ | €294+ |
| Nike Cap | €3.50 | €25 | €21.50 |
| Yeezy Slides | €4 | €70 | €66 |
| Phone Case | €2 | €5-10 | €3-8 |
| Total | €96.50 | €680-700+ | €580-600+ |
We got approximately €680+ worth of retail-equivalent items for under €100. That is roughly 85% savings. Even if you account for quality differences (reps are not 1:1 with retail), the value is extraordinary.
Quality Assessment: Were These Items Actually Good?
Here is the honest truth about each item after wearing them:
Nike Dunk Low (8/10): Genuinely comfortable and good-looking. The leather is thinner than retail, but on foot nobody can tell. We have worn these daily for weeks with zero issues.
Essentials Hoodie (9/10): The best item in the haul. Feels premium, looks premium, washes well. If you told us this was retail, we would believe you.
Blank Tee (8.5/10): Excellent. Thick, comfortable, drapes well. Might actually be the best plain white tee we own.
Stussy Tee (7.5/10): Good, not great. The print is clean but the blank is thinner than we would prefer. Still perfectly wearable and looks accurate.
Nike Socks (8/10): They are socks. Good socks. Clean logos, comfortable fit, holding up well after multiple washes.
Goyard Card Holder (8.5/10): Surprisingly impressive. The Y pattern is decent, the construction is solid, and it fits in a pocket perfectly. One of the best value items we have ever purchased.
Nike Cap (7.5/10): Does what it needs to do. Clean swoosh, comfortable fit. No complaints for ¥25.
Yeezy Slides (8.5/10): Basically retail. Comfortable, look identical, cost nothing.
Phone Case (7/10): Fun and functional. The print fades slightly over time but at ¥15, who cares? Order another one next haul.
Tips for Building Your Own Budget Haul
If you want to replicate this budget haul or create your own, here are the key lessons:
Prioritize High-Value Items
Spend the bulk of your item budget on one or two anchor pieces (sneakers, hoodie) and fill the rest with ultra-cheap items. The ratio should be roughly 60% on 2-3 main items and 40% on 5-7 fillers.
Weight is Your Enemy
Every gram costs money in shipping. Favor lightweight items and remove all unnecessary packaging. The difference between a 3kg and 5kg haul can be €15-20 in shipping.
Do Not Overthink It
At budget prices, you are not committing to a big investment. If an item costs ¥30 and looks decent in QC, ship it. The risk-reward calculation at these prices always favors buying.
Use the Right Agent
Agent choice matters more for budget hauls because shipping rates have a bigger impact on your total cost. ACBuy offers competitive rates to Europe. Compare shipping lines before submitting — the difference between lines can be €10-15 for the same package.
Plan Before You Buy
Map out your items, estimate weights, and calculate approximate shipping before placing any orders. This prevents the disappointment of realizing your ¥500 item budget needs ¥400 in shipping.
Can You Go Even Cheaper?
If €100 is still too much, here is a stripped-down micro-haul for around €60:
| Item | Price | Weight |
|---|---|---|
| 2x Blank Tees | ¥70 (~€10) | 440g |
| Nike Socks (5-pack) | ¥25 (~€3.50) | 100g |
| Yeezy Slides | ¥30 (~€4) | 350g |
| Goyard Card Holder | ¥45 (~€6) | 40g |
| Phone Case | ¥15 (~€2) | 30g |
| Shipping (~1.5kg) | - | |
| Total | ~960g |
Under €50 total for 8 wearable items. The lack of a sneaker or hoodie makes it less exciting, but it proves you can participate in the rep world for almost nothing.
